Negligence Claims Against Your Employer

Where your employer has been negligent you may be able to bring a claim for negligence against them. The claim is available depending on the circumstances of the accident and provided you reach a certain level of disability. Once those elements are satisfied then you may be able to claim damages for the loss suffered. The negligence claim is referred to as a work injury damages claim.
A work-injury damages claim will provide you with a lump sum which will finalise all your rights against your employer and the workers compensation insurer. Once finalised you would not be able to claim any further money from the insurer in relation to that accident or injuries.

For further information regarding negligence contact your Solicitor, Workcover or ISN.
